Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026

This page explains what information Ascend collects through ascendedu.online, why we collect it, and how it's used, stored and protected — including for the parents and guardians of the children enrolled in our programs.

1. Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us when you submit a form on this website. Depending on which form you use, that may include:

  • Your name, email address, and phone or WhatsApp number
  • A learner's name, age or age group, and the subject or course they're interested in — on our homepage enquiry and events registration forms
  • City — on our events registration form, to route you to the right camp or event location
  • The reason for your enquiry — on our contact form, so we can direct it to the right person
  • Any message or notes you choose to add — for example preferred days, current experience, or anything relevant to a child's safety or comfort during a course

If you book a free demo class through our Calendly scheduling link, that booking is handled directly by Calendly under its own privacy terms, not by us — we only receive the appointment details you choose to share when confirming.

>>>confirm Add or remove fields here if the live forms on the site change — this list should always match exactly what's actually being collected.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you submit only to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and confirm course, camp, or event bookings and availability
  • Recommend the right subject, track, or level for a learner
  • Plan suitable groupings and any accommodations a parent or guardian has told us about
  • Communicate important updates about a course, camp, or event you've registered interest in, by email, phone, or WhatsApp
  • Maintain our own administrative and safeguarding records

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Information is shared only with Ascend staff and instructors directly involved in delivering and supervising the course or event you've enquired about, and only to the extent necessary to do so safely.

3. Children's information

Many of our programs are designed for children aged 6 to 16 and above. Registration and enquiry forms are always intended to be completed by a parent or legal guardian — never directly by a child.

Any information about a child submitted through our forms is provided voluntarily by that child's parent or guardian, for the sole purpose of recommending the right course, responding to the enquiry, and safely enrolling and supervising the child during any program they join. We retain this information only for as long as reasonably necessary for administration, safeguarding records, and any applicable legal or regulatory requirements, after which it is securely deleted.

4. Cookies & tracking

The pages that make up this website do not themselves set advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Where they load external resources — such as Google Fonts for typography, or an embedded Google Map on our Contact page — those services may set their own minimal, functional cookies as part of standard delivery.

This section describes the content built into the site's pages. >>>confirm The final WordPress installation may add its own cookies through its theme or other plugins Ascend installs (for example, analytics or live chat) — if so, this section should be updated to reflect what's actually running on the live site.

5. Third-party services we use

To run this website and process enquiries, we rely on a small number of external services:

  • Web3Forms — securely processes form submissions and delivers them to our team's email inbox
  • Calendly — handles free demo class bookings under its own privacy terms
  • Google Fonts — delivers the typefaces used across the site
  • Google Maps — powers the location embed on our Contact page

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data that passes through its service.

6. Data retention

We keep the information you submit for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, deliver any course, camp, or event you've booked, and meet our own administrative, safeguarding, and legal record-keeping obligations. After that, it is securely deleted.

7. Your rights & choices

You may, at any time:

  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you or your child
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Ask us to delete your information, where we are not legally required to retain it
  • Withdraw consent to be contacted about future courses, camps, or events

To exercise any of these choices, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our programs or applicable regulations. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Continuing to use this website or enrol in our programs after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
