These terms apply whenever you enquire about, enrol in, or participate in a course, camp, or event run by Ascend through ascendedu.online.
These terms apply whenever you use ascendedu.online, enquire about a course, or enrol a learner in a course, camp, or event run by Ascend. By submitting a form on this site or enrolling a learner, the parent, guardian, or adult learner completing that step confirms they've read, understood, and agree to these terms.
Courses run for ages 6 to 16 and above across two subjects — Game Design & Development, and Robotics & AI — each available at three durations: a 3-month introduction, a 6-month track that goes deeper, and a full 1-year course that covers everything the subject offers. Which duration to start with is a matter of preference, not a required sequence.
A free demo class is the recommended first step for any new learner. It carries no cost and no obligation, and helps confirm the right subject and starting point.
Submitting an enquiry or registration form is a request to reserve a place — it does not by itself guarantee enrolment. Places are limited and confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis once our team has been in touch to verify details and availability. Course dates, tracks, groupings, and instructors may be adjusted where necessary (for example due to age groupings or minimum class sizes); we'll always tell you about any material change affecting your booking.
Courses run on-site at Sport Society Mall, Mirdif, Dubai, online, or in a hybrid format, depending on the course and what's selected at enrolment.
Course fees and payment schedules are confirmed directly with parents, guardians, or adult learners at the time of booking. Monthly instalment plans are available through Tabby and Tamara — instalments booked through either provider are governed by that provider's own terms and conditions in addition to ours.
Scholarships are available to selected students based on talent, performance, and financial eligibility, and are sometimes offered during special training batches, competitions, or talent programs. Scholarship offers are individually assessed, non-transferable, and subject to Ascend's discretion.
>>>confirm Specific invoicing terms, payment due dates, and what happens if a payment is missed aren't established anywhere yet — add real detail here once decided, rather than leaving this section this general.
Each course module runs on a fixed weekly schedule for its duration. We ask parents and guardians to let us know as early as possible about any planned absence, so we can advise on catching up where possible.
>>>confirm A specific missed-session or make-up-class policy isn't established yet. This section states only what's genuinely known; add real policy detail once decided rather than inventing specific numbers here.
Parents and guardians are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, allergies, or additional support needs that may affect a learner's participation, using the notes field on our forms or by contacting us directly.
All materials, kits, and equipment used during sessions are provided by Ascend and remain subject to our staff's safety guidance and supervision at all times.
We expect every participant to engage respectfully with instructors and fellow students, in keeping with Ascend's wellness-focused, inclusive approach to learning.
Some of our programs conclude with a showcase where participants present their work to family and friends. Photographs or videos may be taken during sessions or a showcase for Ascend's own promotional and archival purposes, such as our website and social media. If you don't want a learner included, tell our team in writing before the course or event begins and we'll accommodate your preference.
Where a course results in something a student personally builds or creates — for example a game, a robot, or a design — the student takes that project home with them, subject to satisfactory participation throughout the course.
Ascend's own course materials, curriculum, and branding remain the intellectual property of Ascend and may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission.
Ascend takes reasonable care in the design and delivery of every course, camp, and event, and in the supervision of every learner on-site. To the extent permitted by law, Ascend's liability for any claim arising from your use of this website or participation in our programs is limited to the fees paid for the specific course, camp, or event in question.
>>>lawyer review needed This is deliberately general, balanced language rather than a fully drafted liability clause — the exact wording of a limitation-of-liability clause has real legal weight and should be finalized with a UAE-qualified lawyer, not taken as-is from here.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute arising from them falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our programs or applicable regulations. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. Continued enrolment in our programs after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
