Schools robotics & AI competition, UAE
Student teams learn, build, program and compete with UBTECH UGOT robots. One competition day, real robots and real problem solving, brought to UAE schools by Ascend EdTech and Avientek.

Build. Code. Compete.
Partners
Three organisations, one competition: the academy, the technology partner and the robot maker.

Maker of UGOT, the modular AI education robot that student teams build, code and compete with.
ubtrobot.comWhy participate
The competition gives students practical exposure to robotics, AI, coding, engineering and teamwork through a structured challenge, not a classroom demo.

Teams assemble modular UGOT robots, connect sensors and motors, then test and refine until the robot does exactly what the challenge asks.

Students move from visual block coding to Python, and use AI features like visual recognition and speech to make their robot respond to the world.

Teams of 2 to 3 students from Grades 5 to 9 work toward one competition day, splitting roles, planning their approach and performing under time pressure alongside other schools.
The robot
UGOT combines a modular build system with an AI-ready control unit, so one kit takes students from first build to vision, speech and Python. Select a module to explore it.

FAQ
Some details are still being finalised with Avientek. Registering now means your coordinator hears first when they are confirmed.
Go to registrationEach team needs two UGOT robots. Tell us in the form whether your school already has UGOT kits and how many more you would need, and our team will advise on the options.
No. The form asks about experience so training can be planned at the right level. UGOT supports a pathway from visual block coding to Python, which suits both new and experienced teams.
Students from Grades 5 to 9 are eligible to participate. Each team must consist of 2–3 students and will require two UGOT robots. Schools may register multiple teams for the competition.
The competition is on Saturday, 21 November 2026. The host school is being confirmed and will be announced to registered schools first.
Registration lets us plan places, kits and training. Our team will follow up with your coordinator to confirm participation once the full competition details are released.
